About Me

My journey in architecture began long before I earned my degree—it was a passion that first took root in 2003 when I started working in the field. By 2007, I had officially qualified as an Architectural Technologist—a professional skilled in the technical aspects of building design, bridging the gap between conceptual architecture and practical construction. For over a decade, I honed my craft in South Africa, refining my ability to transform ideas into tangible spaces—homes, workplaces, and environments where life unfolds.

In 2018, my family and I embraced a new adventure, immigrating to Australia. The move was both exciting and daunting, but it opened doors to incredible opportunities and fresh perspectives. That same year, I joined a design company as a Building Designer, where I spent the next five years expanding my expertise, working on diverse projects, and evolving into the designer I am today.

By 2023, I felt the call to take the next step—to create something of my own. That's when N:xt Design was born. More than just a business, it embodies my passion for thoughtful, innovative design and my belief that every space should tell a story. Architecture is more than just buildings—it's about people. It's about understanding their needs, aspirations, and lifestyles, then bringing them to life through design that is both functional and inspiring. As I embark on this exciting new chapter, I look forward to crafting spaces that not only look beautiful but also enhance the way people live, work, and interact with their surroundings.
